David ran towards Goliath. How do you do that? How does a unseasoned teenager run towards a veteran warrior giant? David said you come against me with sword, spear & shield. I come against you in the name of Lord of Hosts; whom you have defied. David knew who had his back. David knew that this battle was not really about him but was about his God. He said the battle is the Lord’s.
He that would be great must be willing to face great challenges. Great men are made on the altar of great challenges. So your opportunity for greatness comes dressed as a giant that others are cowering from. To be great, you must be willing to step up to the plate and take on what others are running away from.
